You’re tired and frustrated with being ruled by your weight and how it makes you feel …

  • You try so hard to lose a couple of pounds but as soon as you stop dieting, more weight goes on

  • The constant cycle of eating less, falling off the wagon, putting on weight and doing it all over again is exhausting

  • You try to be good all day, but the cravings become impossible to manage in the afternoons and evenings

  • You feel tired all of the time (even though your tests show up as “normal”) and you rarely have the energy to exercise

  • And when you CAN exercise, it doesn’t make a jot of difference to the scales

  • You feel like your metabolism is broken and nothing you do will work

  • You can’t imagine ever fitting into most of your old clothes again

  • You hide in baggy, shapeless outfits and miss the times when you feel confident in whatever you wanted to wear

  • You’re secretly scared that you’ll quite literally burst out of your clothes one day

  • All of this is making you obsessed with your weight and how you look

I want you to know that it’s not your fault that you’re stuck in this vicious cycle

There IS a way to lose those stubborn pounds and feel good inside and out.

It’s not about your willpower or that you haven’t been “good” enough.

It’s that everything you thought you knew about weight loss is working against you now that you’re over 40.

As a woman over 40, weight loss is different. Your hormones are changing and you need to work with them to achieve lasting weight loss.

Restricting calories doesn’t work (it just leaves you feeling exhausted and frustrated)

Neither does exercising yourself into the ground, which also makes you feel more tired and can lead to more weight gain

Your metabolism is stuck in fat storage mode and it won’t move from here while your hormones are out of whack

But when we banish cravings, switch on fat-burning hormones that change your metabolism, and remove weight loss blockers, it’s much easier to lose weight and keep it off.

We’re all about balance in The Burnout Fix and there’s plenty of room for your favourite foods too. We’ll help you change your relationship with food so that you never feel guilty about what you eat or that you’re restricted in any way.

This is how we’ve supported countless women like you to change the way they feel so that life is good, not a struggle, and weight loss feels achievable rather than impossible.

“I HAVE STEADILY LOST 10KGs AND COUNTING"

“I came to The Burnout Fix after many months of battling with general unwellness: my weight was out of control, my hormones were all over the place and I was really struggling to keep a consistent training momentum.

I did not recognise my body anymore.

The approach of focusing on nutrients rather than kg to lose worked very well for me and it was a game changer in my mind and for getting on top of issues that have affected me for many years.

My sleep has improved, my digestive system is completely transformed and I have steadily lost 10kg and counting. I even had the energy to restart my running and my training is going very well.”

“MY LIFE REVOLVED AROUND FOOD BUT NOT ANYMORE!”

“Not feeling hungry between meals has been a revelation. I can’t remember a time before The Burnout Fix when I didn’t feel hungry and my life revolved around food - but not anymore!

When I started to get into balance and stopped needing comfort food, it felt strange (in a good way!).

When life has inevitably got stressful, I’m proud that I haven’t slipped back into my old habits.

Don’t get me wrong - I still enjoy treats now and again but I don’t crave them like I used to.”

“I HAVEN’T DIETED BUT I’VE LOST 11 LBS (AND COUNTING)”

“There’s so much advice that says you need a calorie deficit to lose weight and I had become caught up in that. When you’re exhausted, feeling rubbish, and your hormones are all over the place, this is never going to bring success.

I know that now thanks to Cath and I understand why I was so exhausted, bloated, puffy, and craving sweet foods all the time. My gut and hormone balance needed a lot of support - even more so when I started to go through perimenopause during our time together.

I haven’t dieted since joining The Burnout Fix, yet I’ve lost 11 lbs. I’ve also got zero cravings, much more energy and a flatter stomach (goodbye painful bloat that made me seem pregnant). That’s the difference that good food can make. I never believed that food could be medicine but it really is the solution. The body functions so much better when you look at nutrients rather than calories.”

“I HAVE LOST WEIGHT BUT IT’S SO MUCH MORE THAN THAT”

“Now I know that I wasn’t giving my body the fuel it needed. I was scared to eat fat and I didn’t eat enough protein. No wonder I would spend so much time feeling hungry and craving carbs and sugar!

I was constantly trying to lose weight but my cravings meant I was binging, especially at night.

I was gaining weight very quickly and tried to counteract that with miles of running. On my days off, I’d exercise more and it became a big vicious cycle that only made me feel worse.

Fast forward a few months and I’m a very different Jenny.

I thought the biggest thing would be losing weight but it’s so much more than that. I HAVE lost weight but I can’t believe how much progress I have made in other areas. I feel like myself again, which I never believed could ever happen!”

– Jenny

“I SEEMED TO PUT ON WEIGHT EVERY TIME I ATE”

“After surgical menopause, I had gained 2 stones and an extra 2-3 inches on my waist and hips.

It plunged me into a cycle of restriction and exercising more. I was barely eating 1000 calories per day. I tried Slimming World and countless other weight loss programmes without success. I couldn’t lose any weight but I seemed to put it on every time I ate.

Now I’m well on my way to fixing my core issues, I know the weight loss will come too. The Burnout Fix is an investment in your future health so you don’t have to suffer any longer.”

“I HAVE REDUCED MY BELT BY 2 NOTCHES AND CAN NOW FIT INTO CLOTHES I HAVEN’T WORN FOR 2 YEARS”

“I was constantly feeling tired, frumpy and lethargic and these have all improved. I decided not to go by scales but by my clothes. I have reduced my belt by 2 notches and can now fit into some clothes I haven’t worn for 2 years.

I have so much more energy now.  My sleep has improved too, as has what I eat.  No more cravings for junk and sugar.

I still need to lose some more weight, but I’m in a much better position to do it.

To anyone else who is thinking about this, just book a call with Cath and talk things through.” – Paula
